Water Sensitive Solutionsis involved in a project funded by the Environment and Development Division of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific that has seen WSUD design guidelines developed for the Bhutanese Government. Strategies include rainwater harvesting and reuse, biofiltration of stormwater and permeable paving.
The project involves area specific designs that take into account the unique conditions faced in Bhutan. Our on-ground experience from implementing a large number WSUD project has given us the necessary experience to ensure that the solutions proposed are feasible and achieves the project objectives.
